About Dodge the Bull
Dodge the Bull is a light-hearted arcade game with a matador’s problem at the centre of it. A bull is charging at you, and you cannot stop it or fight it. What you can do is position yourself so that when it comes, it misses you and hits a wall or whatever else is standing nearby.
That turns it into a game about lining things up rather than reacting fast. You are not only avoiding the bull, you are steering it — using your own position to decide where all that momentum ends up. It is a genuinely good way to build a feel for spacing and timing, because the bull does the hard work and your only job is standing in the right place at the right moment.
The first levels are simple enough to pick up without thinking. Later ones stack on obstacles and tighter spaces until a single misjudged step costs you the run. It stays cheerful throughout — nothing here is trying to stress you out — but there is more underneath it than the opening minutes let on.
This one is built in portrait, so it suits a phone especially well. Who it is not for: anyone wanting depth or a long session. It is a quick, repeatable game, and that is the point of it.
